Deise Animal Sanctuary

is an Irish Charity (CHY21017) (CRA 20083755) now in its second decade.

Our mission: To be a safe haven for animals in crisis. We are dedicated to rescuing animals, both domestic and wild. We are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and when possible, find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. Those that cannot be re-homed or released back in the wild find their forever home at the Deise Animal Sanctuary.

We also serve as a resource to the public by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, microchipping and veterinary care. Our Facebook page also serves as a ‘lost & found’ info source. We average about 130 animals, including dogs, cats, goats, peacocks, horses, and a variety of wild animals in our care at any one time. Therefore, we rely heavily on the generosity of the public to fund and continue our work. Thank you for helping us to help those that cannot help themselves.
